Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) wanted to create a holistic campaign that encompassed out-of-home, ambient and digital. Finding a creative solution for something that has been advertised so thoroughly is always a challenge. “Click-it Or Ticket” has been a staple of of many DOT’s for years, so it was a unique challenge to bring it new life. Through our research, statistics show that people are less likely to buckle up when they run an errand that’s “just around the corner,” and therefore, that was an opportunity to remind them that even short trips have big consequences.
